About Tamilnadu

Being aTamilian I am very proud to share abou t the specialities of Tamil Nadu. Tamilnadu is well known for its culture and tradition. Our traditional dance is “Bharathanatyam”. Tamilnadu is famous for its temples and sculptures. In Mammalapuram we can see the five Rathas each  were made by single rocks. The temples are having Gopuras which are seen with many sculptures. The Sreerangam temple has the highest gopura in Tamilnadu. Kanyakumari, The southern most point of Tamilnadu is famous all over the world. There is temple for Goddess Bhagavathi.She is the most powerful Goddess . During Tsunami her temple was not affected and she is the saviour of the people of Kanyakumari.

The Goddess Bhagavathi is considered as Virgin Goddess of Kanyakumari.The nosestud of the Goddess was made of Diamond.During the Tsunami  her temple was not affected and she saved the people of Kanyakumari. In our Tamilnadu we are having the coolest place and the hottest places. In summer we can go to Ootty and Kodaikanal which are the coolest places within Tamilandu.The tamil people are hardworkers. They can work even in the hot sun. In Tamilnadu the famous Bird sanctuary "Vedanthangal" is located. In " Velankanni" there is a temple famous for "Mary" the mother of Jesus. It is visited by people of all religions. Also there is mosque for muslims in Aathoor which is also visited by people of all religions.In Kanyakumari we can see both the sunrise and sunset. The people of Tamilnadu are hard workers. They can work even in the hot sun..In Kanyakumari we can see both the sunrise and sunset . Moreover there is a memorial for "Gandhiji " the Father of our nation; and :" Kamarajar" who is considered to be "the eyes of education " by the people of  Tamilnadu. And in the middle of the sea there is a memorial of "Vivekananda" which is located on a rock. In the nearest rock there is statue of "Iyyan Thiruvalluvar" who wrote “Thirukkural “ which was translated in almost all the world languages.
